3.-5. oktoobril toimuval Game Jamil on võimalus luua vaid 48 tunniga Eesti folklooriloost videomäng!

Game Jam on tempokas videomängude arendamise häkaton, kus osalejad kogunevad, et luua täiesti uusi mänge vaid 48 tunniga. Seekordseks teemaks on Eesti folkloor – müüdid, legendid, tegelased, rahvalaulud ja muinasjutud. Osalejad moodustavad tiimid, genereerivad ideid ja arendavad neist mängitavad videomängu prototüübid.
Varasem kogemus? Pole vaja!
Oodatud on kõik huvilised – folkloristid, kunstnikud, graafilised disainerid, kirjanikud, disainerid, filmitegijad, muusikud, mänguarendajad, turundajad, ettevõtjad, jutuvestjad, ja kõik, keda köidab mängude loomine. Tehnilisi oskusi pole tarvis; kõige olulisem on kujutlusvõime, koostöötahe ja soov tuua Eesti pärimus mängumaailma. Tule üksi või tiimiga!

- 18.00 – 21.00 Sissejuhatus, inspiratsioonikõneleja, tiimide moodustamine
- 21.00 – 02.00 Tiimides töö (Kultuurikatel on avatud kuni 02.00)
Laupäev 04.10
- 09.30 Kultuurikatel on avatud
- 10.00 – 11.30 Chekpoint mentoritega
- 11.30 – 16.00 Töö tiimides
- 16.00 – 17.30 Checkpoint mentoritega
- 17.30 – 02.00 Töö tiimides (Kultuurikatel on avatud kuni 02.00)
Pühapäev 05.10
- 09.30 Kultuurikatel on avatud

- 16.00 ~ 20.00 Mängude esitlemine ja auhinnad
48 tunni jooksul saad:
👾 Tutvuda uute inimestega ja kohapeal pannakse kokku tiimid
🎨 Ühendada erinevaid loomeoskusi
✨ Mõtestada folkloori lood ümber täiesti uutes mängudes

Osalustasu:

Game Jam: Estonian Folklore Edition
At the Game Jam taking place on October 3–5, you’ll have the chance to create a video game based on Estonian folklore in just 48 hours!
A Game Jam is a fast-paced event where people come together to design and build brand-new games in just 48 hours. This time, the theme is Estonian folklore – myths, legends, characters, folk songs, and fairy tales. Participants form teams, brainstorm ideas, and turn them into playable video game prototypes.
No prior experience? No problem!
Everyone with a creative spark is welcome – artists, writers, designers, filmmakers, musicians, storytellers, folklore enthusiasts and anyone curious about making games. You don’t need technical skills; what matters most is imagination, collaboration, and the desire to bring Estonian folklore into the world of games.

Friday 03.10
- 17:30 – 18:00 Gathering
- 18:00 – 21:00 Introduction, inspirational speaker, team formation
- 21:00 – 02:00 Teamwork (Kultuurikatel is open until 02.00)
Saturday 04.10
- 09:30 Kultuurikatel opens
- 10:00 – 11:30 Checkpoint with mentors
- 11:30 – 16:00 Teamwork
- 16:00 – 17:30 Checkpoint with mentors
- 17:30 – 02:00 Teamwork (Kultuurikatel is open until 02.00)
Sunday 05.10
- 09:30 Kultuurikatel opens
- 09:30 – 16:00 Teamwork
- 16:00 – ~20:00 Game presentations and awards
Over 48 hours you’ll:

Participation fee:
• Company: €5 + VAT (up to 5 participants included – register only one person, we’ll ask for others’ info later)
• Individual: €15 + VAT
