The company will have refined its product/service and created a sales plan. As a result of the programme, the entrepreneur will be prepared for growth and ready to start exporting. Additionally, the programme will provide opportunities for collaboration both across industries and with research institutions.

2.Meeting

We will schedule a meeting where you can share more detailed information about your company and plans.

3.Evaluation committee

If we determine that you are ready to join the programme, we will refer you to the evaluation committee.

4.Decision

The evaluation committee will decide based on your presentation whether your company can join the programme.

What topics can I get advice on from the programme?

The focus areas of the growth programme include growth strategies, customer experience, team management, sales, and export. Additionally, it is possible to receive mentoring on various topics from the Business Incubator mentors.

Who is the growth programme intended for, and what conditions must be met to join the programme?

The growth programme is intended for micro and small enterprises that have a product or service with the potential for larger growth and wish to begin exporting.

What is expected from companies participating in the programme?

We expect that entrepreneurs joining the growth programme have the capability, motivation, and time resources to focus on developing their business. Over the course of 6 months, participants can receive up to 8 hours of mentoring and up to 2 consultations per month. Additionally, there will be a 5-part basic training series during the programme, which we expect all participants to attend. There will also be weekly opportunities to participate in various thematic events and trainings.

Is financial support available through the growth programme?

No.

Do I have to give equity?

No.

How much does participation in the growth programme cost?

The monthly fee for participating in the growth programme is €90 + VAT.

What is the difference between consultation and mentoring?

A consultant is a personal support throughout the entire program, collaborating with the entrepreneur and offering opportunities that could be beneficial for the specific business.

A mentor, on the other hand, is an expert in their field who provides advice to the entrepreneur on a specific topic based on their needs. In a mentoring session, the mentor addresses the entrepreneur’s specific questions in a particular area.

Is business growth guaranteed?

Business growth depends on the entrepreneur’s motivation, activity level, and market conditions.

In what language are the trainings and services offered?

Trainings and events are primarily conducted in Estonian. In some exceptional cases, trainings may also be held in English. Consultations and mentoring sessions are conducted in Estonian, but can also be conducted in English if necessary.

The first cohort of the Business Incubator’s growth programme started in January 2024, featuring companies such as the furniture design company Oot-Oot Stuudio, the ticket sales platform Fienta, the bag brand Älly Scandic, the accessory brand Miurio, Artproof, Sortaider, ID Lam, Rahu Care, Baubauwall, Avatar, and No(n)s.
